With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn F. Dobbs (Muncie, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 13, 2025 at the age of 83. As we bid Carolyn farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carolyn is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Carter Dobbs; her son Wayne Dobbs; and her parents, Hershell Koger and Henrietta Koger. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Pamela Dobbs of Muncie; her grandchildren, Tasha Cook (Gary) of Shepherdsville, Kentucky and Justin Dobbs (Kati Cooper) of Muncie; her great grandchildren, Arianne and Tyler Cook of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; her siblings, Roger Koger (Catherine) of Muncie and Sue Bell (Howard) of Muncie; and her brother-in-law Jack Dobbs of Muncie. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other close friends.
