It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Allen Lee Surpas of Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on November 19, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Allen leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Surpas and Alva Surpas; his stepfather Leonard Ormes; his former wife Shelia Surpas (Weakley); his brother Wayne Ormes; and his stepson Jeffrey Moon (Carrinna Moon).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Moon-Surpas; and his stepdaughter Carmen Hornbaker (Rob). He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Parson Mortuary (801 W Adams St, Muncie, IN 47305). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
