We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2025, at the age of 87, Melvin John Maier of Mulberry, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Maier and Edna Maier (Max); his daughter Linnette Woodman (Darrell); and his brother George Maier (Sharon). He is survived by: his wife Shurnette Maier (Grigsby); his son Michael Maier (Kimi); his siblings, Carole Nauert (Jack), Russ Maier (Jane) and Wayne Maier (Pat); his grandchildren, Mason Maier (Alex), Kali McCaw (Jake), Sydney Maier, Luke Woodman and Emma Woodman; and his great grandchildren, Mills Maier and Tripp Maier.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hippensteel Funeral Home (822 N 9th St, Lafayette, IN 47904). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
