He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Funkhouser and Anna Bothmann (Durham). He is survived by: his wife Harriett L. DeBoy (Deboy) of Mulberry; his granddaughters, Leah and Maely Garrison; and his nieces, Lori Mooney-Taylor and Terra Funkhouser.
