He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Ogden; and his children, John Allen Whitlock (Romalyn), Jeanette Van Auken, Adrian Critten Whitlock (Elaine) and Katie Whitsitt (Chris). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
