He is survived by: his children, John Carson (Melinda) of Lafayette, Tammy Klink (Jim) of Lafayette, IN and Dan Carson of Lafayette; his sister Carolyn Breitweiser (Jerry) of Traverse, FL.; his grandchildren, Mathew Carson, Adriane Makousky, Drew Carson, Michael Martin, Megan Hovermale, Andrew Quirk, Brad, Brent Klink and Preston Carson; his foster children, Jamie Bell and Cindy Goetz; his grandson Austin Carson; and his foster daughter Bonnie Carter. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
