He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Brooks and Marianna Brooks (Mills); his wife Ann Brooks; his stepmother Rose Ella Brooks (Dorris); his daughter Barbara Lochmueller; his grandson Trevor Lochmueller; and his brother William Brooks.
He is survived by: his children, Galen Brooks and Tracey Whitten (Bruce); his granddaughter Camry Costello; his great grandchild Eva Neidig; and his brother Thomas Brooks (Alice). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
