He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Keith and Lillian Thomas (Dietz); his grandsons, Gabriel Gordon and Ryan Bredemeier; and his sister Gloria Pfister.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Thomas (Forthoffer); his children, Matthew Thomas (Jane) of Owensboro, KY, Johna Bredemeier (Cary) of Mt. Vernon, IN and Molly Gordon (James III) of Shelbyville, KY; his grandchildren, Whitney Rutledge (Ethan), James Gordon IV, Noah Gordon, Ben Bredemeier, Beth Jetter, Andrew Bell (Carmen) and Stephen Bell; and his sister Billie Rose Wilson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to M-Club or Huntington's Disease Society of America.
