He was predeceased by: his father Audie Dickens; his daughter Kathy Wininger; and his siblings, Norval, Charles Dickens, Pearl Greenwell, Kate Dossett and Norma Jean Dickens.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Dickens (Miller); his son Tony Dickens (Judy); and his brother Frank Dickens (Linda). He is also survived by six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
