He was predeceased by: his parents, William Humston and Margaret Humston (Richardson); his wife Sharon "Sherry" Humston; and his siblings, Richard, William, David, Donald Humston, Kathleen McCarty and Virginia Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Jody McKinney (Bill) and Tim Humston (Michelle); his grandchildren, Damian, Kirk, Alex and Grace; and his siblings, Robert Humston, Elizabeth Humston, Connie Smith and Peggy Turner. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
