He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Judy Thomas; his significant other Katrina Edwards (Redden); his daughters, Raena Edwards-Stutsman (Zac), Julie Ricketts and Amber Bontrager (Vernon); his granddaughter Alexis Anderson; and his siblings, Jerry Ricketts of Florida, Marvin Ricketts of California, Wayne Ricketts of Evansville, Benny Ricketts of Evansville, Rita Smith of Evansville, Glenda Bell of Kentucky and Janice Troncoso of Mt. Vernon. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the Posey Humane Society.
