He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dausman and Ruth Dausman (Streeby); and his siblings, Virginia Sue Thompson and William Dausman. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Dausman (Beste); and his sons, Bruce Dausman (Sandy), Brian Dausman (Jane), Bret Dausman (Ellen) and David Dausman (Anita). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
