We are sad to announce that on December 23, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Richard Patrick of Mount Vernon, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Preston Patrick, Jr. and Ruth Marie Patrick (Shaad); and his sister Diane Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Judy Patrick; his sons, Steven Patrick (Sherry) and Michael Patrick (Liz); his grandson Logan Michael Patrick; his stepgranddaughter Lily Sizemore; and his brother-in-law Paul Montgomery. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home (512 Main St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620).
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or American Cancer Society.
