It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pearl Medley of Mount Vernon, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on December 9, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Wilson and Erma Pearce (Johnson); her daughter Carla Thompson; her son-in-law Bill Brown; and her sister-in-law Gail Pearce.
She is survived by: her husband Carlis Medley; her children, Shawn Medley and Valerie Brown; her son-in-law Tim Thompson; her grandchildren, Ashley Adams, Logan Thompson, Adam Brown, Audrey Talbott, Lucas and Liam Medley; her great grandchildren, Tanner Meyer, Rachel, Jacob, Josiah Thompson, Emma, Olivia, Jordyn Talbott, Ella, Addy Brown, Chase and Grayson Adams; her siblings, Daniel Pearce, David Pearce (Connie), James Pearce (Debbie) and Iona Hall (Joe); and her aunts, Virble Yount and Judith Bateman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riverbend Food Pantry or the American Heart Association.
