He was predeceased by: his former wives, Sandra Keitel (Patmore) and Carolyn Keitel (Decamps); his son Jeffrey Keitel; his son-in-law Darrel Haney; his sister Doris "Pete" Rohlman; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Rohlman and Jerry Stevens.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Keitel (Lavon), Suzan Haney, Pauletta Grant (Charlie) and Ladonna Scott (Roy); his stepsons, Dewey Hampton and Charles Hampton; his grandchildren, Brandon Scott, Jarred Scott (Samantha), Zachary Scott, Kyle Haney, Jeffrey Grant, Trevor Grant, Lee Keitel and Cassandra Bogard (Jeremy); his stepgrandchildren, Hannah Hampton and Rhea Hampton; and his sister Carolyn Stevens. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
