He was predeceased by: his parents, John Chaffin and Nola Chaffin (Gross); and his siblings, John Jr., George, Maurice, Larry, William, Gerald Chaffin, Dora Trafford and Jennifer Nation.

He is survived by: his sons, Paul Chaffin, Jr. (Anna) and Scott Chaffin (Caitlan Titzer); and his grandchildren, Johnathon, Jalayna Chaffin, Cheyenne and Camry Chaffin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Schneider Funeral Home to defray final expenses.
