We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2021, Noreta Jane Mort (Mount Vernon, Indiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Henwood and Norma Henwood (Irwin); her husband Jack Mort; her brothers, Oscar and Buck Henwood; and her grandson Matt Smith.
She is survived by: her sister Anna Clay; her children, Cindy Jervis (Keith), Jerry Mort (Laura) and Bob Mort (Angie); her grandchildren, Brad Smith (Lori), Errin Weisman (Craig), Curt Mort (Amanda), Hannah Merano (Eduardo), Rebekah Mort, Kei Mort and Joshua Mort; and her stepgrandchildren, Mark Jervis (Sarah), Heather Fisher (Adam), Melissa McConnell, Adam Jarvis (Erica), Chelsey Gonzalez (Lenny) and Tyler Jarvis (Tiffany). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and various friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to General Baptist International Missions for the Matigsalug Bible Institute.
