It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Whitaker (Mount Vernon, Indiana), born in Pendleton, Indiana, who passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Lee and Mary Lee (Davis); her husband Max Robert Whitaker; and her siblings, Fred, John Lee and Norma Lou Gilbert.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Lynn Bartolomeo (Jim) and Marcia Smith (Brian); her grandchildren, Ryan Bartolomeo, Lyndi DiStefano (Tom), Natalee Bogel (Jeremy), Ashley Connell (Matt), Chase Smith (Stephanie), Jacob Smith (Jillian) and Michael Smith; and her sister Martha Foster (Bill). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
