It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leo G. Weinzapfel of Mount Vernon, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on May 2, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Florian Weinzapfel and Mary Weinzapfel (Holzgrebe); his wife Mary Elizabeth Weinzapfel (Seng); and his siblings, Delores Weinzapfel, Raymond Weinzapfel and William Weinzapfel.
He is survived by: his sons, David Weinzapfel (Diane), Kenneth Weinzapfel, Michael Weinzapfel (Roberta), Robert Weinzapfel (Julie), Anthony Weinzapfel (Karen), Christopher Weinzapfel (Viki) and Ronald Weinzapfel (Rita); and his sister Mary Jane Little.
