It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lavern Kelly (Mount Vernon, Indiana), born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on August 22, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James B. Kelly, Jr.; her daughter Rebecca Lee Fuller; her stepson Thomas Kelly; and her siblings, Harold Powell and Mary Lee Greenwood (Powell).
She is survived by: her children, Edward Fuller (Sally), Benfer Fuller, William Fuller, Deborah Nation of Rieandra Scott and Karen Ashworth; and her stepchildren, James Kelly III (Suzanne), Jackie Hourigan (Steve), Karen Diver (Mike), Elizabeth Lenz (Ken) and Timothy Kelly (Vicki). She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Operation Smile.
