She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brandenstein and Ovella Brandenstein (Dunlap); her husband George Slygh; and her children, Carol Hardin, Margaret Cooper, David Case and Robert Melton.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Slygh, Larry Case (Carol) and Peggy Watson (Mike); her grandchildren, Jason Pace (Jaclynn), Nick "Gameday" Burton, Michael Watson (Kristina), Kelly Walker (Doug), Gretchen Taylor, Christopher Slygh and Danny Slygh; and her great grandchildren, Remi and Reed.
