He was predeceased by: his parents, Theresa "Ann" Reese (Schoening) and Jerry Utley; his grandparents, Floyd, Georgia Lee Schoening, Rudy and Catherine Utley; and his aunts and uncles, Floyd Schoening, Norris Utley, Mary Butler, Margaret Stanley and Nancy Daly.
He is survived by: his children, Hunter Reese (Kayelee) and Nicole Reese (Jonathan Wilderman); his grandchildren, Rowan, Hadlee, Amelia Reese and Emersyn Wilderman; his siblings, Alan Utley, Kelly Utley (Stephanie), Jamie Buchanan (Andy), Leigh Ann Clark (William) and Kodie Ritzert (Chad); his aunts and uncles, Nancy Schoening, Jane Schoening, Genny Cox (Rodney), Janice Gatewood (Geary), David Schoening (Rose) and John Schoening; his goddaughters, Iliza and Ruby Ritzert; and his close friend Brent "Red Dawg" Duncan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home (512 Main St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
