He is survived by: his wife Marian Ann Higgs; his children, Duane Higgs (Clare) and Melanie Schutz (Harold); his grandchildren, Matthew Schutz (Kayla), Marc Schutz, Emily Neary (John), Dana Wildt (Shawn) and Phillip Jeffries (Dana); his great grandchildren, Haylee, Monroe, Nora and Vada; and his siblings, Robert Higgs (Nadine), Pasty Reid and Eloise Hopper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
