He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert W. Scott and Rose Etta Scott (Newman); his brother Matthew A. Scott; and his nephews, Zachary Scott and Christian Pappenmeier.
He is survived by: his wife Sherri Scott (Toelle); his children, Shannon Hoehn, Timothy Scott (Amanda Noble) and Aaron Scott (Noelle); his grandchildren, Chase Hoehn, Lyla, Madden, Demi Jo Scott, Peter Deitch (Tabitha Titzer), Patrick Noble and Isabella Noble; his great grandchildren, Abbigail, Veronica, Rosetta Titzer, Nova and Vega Hoehn; and his siblings, Gail Hames, Robert C. "Corky" Scott (Debbie) and Roy Scott (Ladonna).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Philip Catholic Church (3500 St Phillips Rd, Mt Vernon, IN 47620).
