He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy E. Vance, and Martha Ann Vance, Sr. (Atwood); the mother of his children Rose Marie Vance (Wilhite); his in-laws, George and Bessie Wilhite; and his father-in-law Randall Carr.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Vance (Wagner); his sons, Cory Vance (Ashley) and Kyle Vance (Blair); his stepson Dane McDurmon (Peggy); his grandchildren, Kaylee, Kinzy, Alley, Mathias, Makai, McKenzie and MyLeigh; his mother-in-law Glenna Carr; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Hoehn, Janet Issa (Neil), Ginny Jung (Pete) and Ronnie Wagner (Brenda).
