She was predeceased by: her parents, Veatris E. Poe and Ula Poe (Scott); her husband Arthur Potter; her son Joe Hawkins; her stepson Arther Potter, Jr.; her stepgrandson Nathan Stafford; and her siblings, Robert Poe, Everett Jr. Poe, Mabel Brannam, Anna Poe, Maxine Elder and Jovata Odom.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hawkins (Donna Tucker), Betty Scheller (Dan), Donna Healy (Dennis) and Becky Stafford (Mike); her nephew Bobby Poe (Dee); her niece Janet Baca; her stepdaughters, Kristal McKnight (Robbie), Dana Maupin (Michael) and Misty Potter; her sisters, Sue Wallman and Frances Beal (Gary); and the father of her children Phillip "Hawk" Hawkins. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
