He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen McCarty (Humston); and his siblings, Carl McCarty, Leona Moore, Louise Brown and Anna Cotner.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Hilker (George), Julie Benner (Terry), Eddie McCarty, David McCarty and Linda Corressell (Tom); his siblings, John McCarty and Helen Cox; his sister-in-law Betty Humston; and his friends, Bill Gross, Steve Loehr and Jimmy Goff. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
