It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Vaal of Mount Vernon, Indiana, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on June 23, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Gary may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Vaal and Justine Vaal (Hoffman); and his son Joseph Vaal. He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Cathy" Vaal (Miller); his sons, Brian Vaal (Stacy) and Matthew Vaal; and his sister Yvonne Lawrence (Tony). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
