Ethel Riess Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Riess of Mount Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on June 14, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Ira Perkins; her former husband Carl Strait; her husband David Riess; and her brother Stanley Perkins. She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Johnson (Mike), Russ Strait (Glynna) and Larry Strait (Lorrie); her grandchildren, Kenneth Johnson (Lorna), Kathy Bouch (Charles), Jennifer Waters, Stacie Craig, Ginger Summerlin, Summer King and Tyler King; and her close friend Patsy Wagner. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
