With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella Cox (Mount Vernon, Indiana), born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on April 18, 2022 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Hezekiah Cox, Sr.; her stepfather John Compton; her daughter Luella Cox; and her siblings, Hezekiah Cox Jr., Lynn Cox, Ben Cox, Barbara of Washington and Edna Quisenberry.
She is survived by: her daughter Naomi Cox; and her siblings, Mary Cason, Elizabeth Lee (Cookie), Kathryn Berry Ridley, Karen Odom (Dale), Gloria Cox, John Cox, James Cox and Steven Cox. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
The family requests that guests please wear masks if possible.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Friends of Alexandrian Public Library to support children's literacy.
