She was predeceased by: her parents, William Uebelhack and Christene Uebelhack (Renschler); her husband Earl E. Niehaus; and her sisters, Irene Oeth (Bob) and Lorene Mahrenholz (Max).

She is survived by: her children, Marcia Tyson (Phillip) of Canton, GA and Michael Niehaus of Evansville; her grandchildren, Carly Niehaus, Addison Gomez (Daniel) and Carter Niehaus; her great grandchild Gideon Gomez; and her sister Esther Saltzman (Paul) of Mt. Vernon.
