He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Beste and Mary Beste (Ashworth). He is survived by: his children, Lynn Presley (Scott), Becky Sundeen (Matt) and Scott Beste; his grandchildren, Emma, Hank, Will Presley, Oliver Sundeen, Mark and Ben Beste; and his brother Edward C. Beste (Anna).

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schneider Funeral Home (512 Main St, Mt Vernon, IN 47620). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Bellefontaine Cemetery (5500 Industrial Rd, Mt Vernon, IN 47620).
