He is survived by: his cousin Glen; his close friends, Bret Moye and Steve Fuelling; his sons, Derek and Brandon Funk; his close friend Janice; his stepchildren, Chris Kelly, Amanda Certain (Kelly) and Sarah Rush (Kelly); his grandchildren, Damon, Jonah Funk, Myah Woodruff and Serenity Funk; his siblings, Donna (Funk), Paula Jo Funk, Tim Funk and John Funk (Cindy); and his nieces and nephews, Curt Johnson (Bonnie), Matt Semelka (Sherry), Abby Comiskey, Jennifer Williams, Ciara Bailey, Kathy Henderson, Richard Henderson, Holly Doty, Mary Doty, Miranda Garrett (Funk), Carrissa Wojciechowski (Funk) and Rachel Funk (Caden).
