It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cornelia Powers (Mount Vernon, Indiana), born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on July 16, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas B. Powers; her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Powers; her granddaughter Theresa Lynn Jackson; her brother Julius Krock; and her son-in-law Marion Ray Zink.
She is survived by: her children, Barb Jones (Ray) of Mt, Shirley Powers of Evansville, IN and Eugene "Gene" Powers (Sally) of Evansville, IN; her sister Helen Hagenseiker of Evansville, IN; and her grandchildren, Michelle Schweizer (Joe), Danielle Todd (Kevin), Keith France (Andrea), Therri Jackson, Shane Howell (Anne), Jason Howell (Beth), Jack Powers (Stephanie), Allen Powers, Terry Hamrick, Brenda Hartmann (Jeff) and Cheryl Zink-Bell. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
