He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Shaw (Marx). He is survived by: his children, Eric Shaw (Madonna) and Amy Higginbotham; his grandchildren, Ericka Basham (Jarad), Dustin Shaw (Natalie), Nicole Dealph and Linsey Higginbotham; his great grandchildren, Brookelyn, Wesley Basham, Hudson, Lainey Shaw, Logan and Wade Dealph; and his sister Greta Baird. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friend.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to Riding Hope and mailed to Riding Hope, Inc., c/o Beth Tromley, 3311 David Drive, Mount Vernon, Indiana 47620.
