He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles King and Irma King (Redman); his significant other Wilma King (Ricketts); and his brothers, Jimmy King of Mt. Vernon and Ricky King of Mt. Vernon.
He is survived by: his sons, Todd King of Newburgh and Curt King of Mount Vernon; his grandchildren, Shannon King of Newburgh, Stephanie King of Statesboro, GA and Lauren Mayer (Trenton) of Newburgh; his great grandchildren, Melanie King of Statesboro, GA and Kinley Mayer of Newburgh; and his siblings, Linda Quiseng of Hawaii, Mary Forenz of New York, Jerry King (Marsha) of Mt. Vernon, Cathy Emery (Dennis) of Mt. Vernon, Georgia Nettles (Dennis) of Mt. Vernon, Peggy Brown of Texas, Randy King (Melody) of Mt. Vernon, Jeanie Rice (Brian) of Evansville and Janet Alsop (Randy) of Mt. Vernon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
