He was predeceased by: his parents, Orbie Huey and Marie Huey (Jones); his grandson Steven Huey; and his sisters, Joann Reed and Betty Huey.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Huey (Deckard); his children, Scott Huey (Genise) and Pam Huey; his grandchildren, Kevin Huey (Koren), Jodi Morphew (Robert) and Aaron Johnson (Corinne); and his great grandchild Damon Funk.
