Donald Howard Evans Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Howard Evans (Mount Summit, Indiana), born in Byrdstown, Tennessee, who passed away on May 28, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred W. Evans and Mary A. Evans (Huddleston); his wife Phyllis Sue Evans (Cox); his siblings, Lois Teague, Morris, David and Norman Evans; and his sisters-in-law, Tomiko Evans and Joanne Evans.
He is survived by: his daughters, Gayle Williams (Chris) of Yorktown and Lynn Murray (Mike) of Anderson; his grandchildren, Ryan Painter (Stephanie), Molly Williams, Laura Williams, Stephen Murray, Kristin Lyons (Rocky) and Matt Murray; and his brothers, James Evans (Florence) of Washington, Billy Evans (Debbie) and Hollis Evans of New Castle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Corona Virus restrictions, family may call from 2:30 -3:00 p. m. on Monday, June 1, 2020 at Mount Summit Cemetery in Mt. Summit, Indiana with a brief service following.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations in Don's memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Indiana; 225 N Michigan Ave., Fl 17, Chicago IL 60601.
