With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rita Jane Covalt of Morristown, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rita Jane left this world on February 23, 2025 at the age of 95, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Schutt and Ruby E. Schutt (Dismore); her husband Marvin E. Covalt; and her siblings, Phillip Schutt and Charlene Northam.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Wilson (Ken) of Morristown and Jane Rodenhuis (Jeff) of Morristown; her grandchildren, Wendi, Erin, Kellie, Katie, Eric and Jill; her niece Linda Buckland; and her nephew Philip Kelso. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gwynneville Christian Church (7104 Mulberry St, Gwynneville, IN 46144). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
