It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Perry of Morristown, Indiana, born in Oneida, Kentucky, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard J. Baker and Nell Baker (Hensley); and her sister Connie Kidd. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Ray Perry; her children, Mike Gillie (Amy) of McCordsville and Melisa Alkire (Jeff) of Greenfield; her siblings, Jim Baker (Jacque) of Mooresville, John Baker (Fran) of Colton, California, Donna Stouder of Plainfield, Jan Thomas (Jerry) of Danville and Nedra Waggoner (Rob) of Clayton; her grandchildren, Bethany Keller (Timothy), Dylan Alkire, Christopher Gillie and Lydia Gillie; her great grandchildren, Theodore, Victor and Annabelle Keller; and her brother-in-law Jim Kidd of Greenfield. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
