He is survived by: his wife Anna M. Kroesen; his children, Anna Rose Scheid (Frank), Christopher Kroesen (Christina) and Alyssa Putigna; his grandchildren, Andrew Scheid, Katherine Scheid and Willow Uelman; his siblings, Jane Windsor (Ed), Anna Calvert (David), Theo Kroesen, Benno Kroesen (Cherie), Leendert Kroesen (Betty) and Violette Nast; and his sister-in-law Irene Kroesen.
