He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Keith Carlson (Gretchen) and Danielle Simpson (Thomas); his grandchildren, Madison (Carlos), Hannah, Carlie and Clayton; his mother Barbara Starr; his sister Heidi Geib; his niece Melody; and his nephew Leonard. He is also survived by numerous cousins and extended family.
