He is survived by: his wife Mary A. Abbott (Witt); his children, Karen A. Hickman (Steve) of Trafalgar, Kathy E. Van Winkle (Brian) of Morgantown and Jeff L. Abbott of Helmsburg; his sister Mary Lou Harris of Illinois; and his grandchildren, Jackie Owens (Jamie), Chris Hickman (Brandy), Brady Van Winkle (Sarah), Joseph Van Winkle, Rachel Gribbins (Justin), David James Abbott (Felicity), Anna Lee Abbott, Ethan Lee James Abbott and Bailey Rossell. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
