He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Pitcher and Vennie Pitcher (Fox); and his siblings, William "Bill" Pitcher and Cynthia "Cindy" Rose. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Brown; his daughters, Katie Sichting of Morgantown and Jessica Konkle (Rob) of Morgantown; his grandchildren, Lacey Sichting and Anna May Jones; and his siblings, Karen Pitcher of Martinsville, Raymond Pitcher of Helmsburg and Beth Smith of Greenwood.
