Abbott of Morgantown, Indiana, born in Whiteland, Indiana, who passed away on February 11, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Witt and Helen Witt (Gaunce); her husband Walter L. Abbott; her son James "Jim" Abbott; her grandson Colton Lee James Abbott; and her siblings, Elizabeth Stillabower, Clyde Jr., Bob, Sam, Benny, Jerry and David Witt.
She is survived by: her children, Karen A. Hickman (Steve) of Trafalgar, Kathy E. Van Winkle (Brian) of Morgantown and Jeff L. Abbott of Helmsburg; her siblings, Nancy Witt of Greenwood and Denny Witt (Debbie) of Trafalgar; and her grandchildren, Jackie Owens (Jamie), Chris Hickman (Brandy), Brady Van Winkle (Sarah), Joseph Van Winkle, Rachel Gribbins (Justin), David James Abbott (Felicity), Anna Lee Abbott, Ethan Lee James Abbott and Bailey Rossell. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
