Chaney of Morgantown, Indiana, born in Alexandria, Kentucky, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 106, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father George R. Oetzel; her husband Everett W. Chaney; her sons, Ben Willard Chaney, Rodney Dale Chaney and J. Daryel Chaney; and her siblings, Lorena Steinborn, Geneva Heckel, Nina Fisher, Nellie Fankboner, Dora Fugazzi, Georgia Brown, Ora Mathias, Austin Oetzel and William Oetzel.
She is survived by: her grandsons, Bret Chaney (Rhonda) of Morgantown, Ty Chaney (Mary Beth) of Greenwood, Clay Chaney of Bargersville and Travis Dushane (Elizabeth) of Hawaii; and her daughter-in-law Karen Rogers of Morgantown. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren.
