It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John W. Emkes of Morgantown, Indiana, who passed away on May 21, 2023, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Bernard Emkes. He is survived by: his mother Orpha Emkes; his daughter Anna; and his siblings, Bernie Emkes (Marta), Joan Whitaker (Bill), Mark Emkes (Conchi), Sandy Burroughs (Mike), Michael Emkes (Cindy), Jane Emkes (Paul Schlesinger) and Jana Gray (Scott). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
