She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Morgan and Ella Morgan (Mosley); her daughter Gladennie "Dena" Henry; and her siblings, Dalton Morgan, Thadeus Morgan, Mildred Asher, Hoberta Hall, Leda Gail Hall, Brenda Beagley, Chuckie Morgan, Debbie Rinker and Dean Morgan.
She is survived by: her husband Hughes M. Smith; her daughters, Deloris Dale Carswell (Greg) of Flint, MI and Dewanda Gail Sanders (John) of Brown County; her siblings, Shirley Hoskins of Brown County, Beanna Morgan (Jack Smith) of Brown County and Darlene Vance (David) of Hoskinston, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Jonathon Sanders, Becky Dillman, Gregory Carswell II, Brandon Carswell, Melissa Sarnecki and Megan Henry. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
