He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ray and Eula Mae Burkhart Sr. (Jones); and his siblings, E. C., Alvin, Malcomb Burkhart, Margie McIntosh and Elsie Faye Leonard.
He is survived by: his wife Greta D. Burkhart (Cline); and his children, Todd Mattingly (Carrie) of Brown County, Michael Chad Burkhart of Brown County, David Patton (Melody) of Brown County, Tony Wright of Brown County, Andy Patton (Jasmine) of Brown County, Deanna Burkhart of Brown County, Christina Graham (Eric) of Indianapolis and Ernest Ray Burkhart Jr. of Noblesville. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.
