With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jo Weddle of Morgantown, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 4, 2024 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter J. Tharpe and Josephine Tharpe (Hamilton); her husband Dale; and her brothers, Jim and Ed Tharpe.
She is survived by: her children, JoEllen Michener (Michael) of Franklin and Lee Weddle (Susan) of Morgantown; her grandchildren, Heather Fleener (Adam) of Franklin, Kevin Michener (Holly) of Greenwood, Kendra Foster (Caleb) of Morgantown and Karlea Weddle (Nathan Stropes) of Morgantown; her great grandchildren, Caleb, Caitlyn, Caylee, Carter, Kole, Rosalee, Clara and Opal; and her siblings, Ernie Ray Tharpe of Morgantown and Suzan Brown (Wayne) of Franklin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
